Chapter 20
Amanda used her magic to lift the both of them off the ground while they were hugging, but when they parted Howie looked down and was startled.
Amanda: Dont be scared Howie.
Howie: You Youre making us float!
He said with a smile. Amanda had to smile back.
Amanda: Yes I am, isnt it great?
Howie looked around trying to see if anyone was watching. But the only thing he saw was the beauty of the park, especially the pond, the way it glimmered in the moonlight.
Howie: This is fantastic! Do you do this often?
Amanda: Only if no ones around.
The rest of the night Howie and Amanda floated above the trees looking out around the park, holding each other.

THE NEXT MORNING

Brandy: Wheres Amanda?
Amber and Mandy both smiled, because they knew the reason.
Amber: Oh, well, she hasnt been home all night.
Brandy: Then where is she?
Mandy: She went out with Howie last night, I guess they never made it home last night.
Mandy said with an evil grin on her face.
Just then Amanda walked into the house with a big smile, humming.
Brandy: Shes humming!!! You know what that means!
Amanda: What does it mean?
Mandy: You know when someone never comes home from a date that was yesterday, and  they come home the next morning humming!
Amandas mouth dropped open.
Amanda: I did nothing like that. Sickos!
Amber: I bet you didnt.
Amanda: All we did was go to a movie and then we walked around the park.
Brandy: Then why are you home so late?
Amanda: Well We stayed in the park all night looking at the stars and the pond. So nothing happened!
Amber: Thats sounds like a romantic evening.
Amanda: It was!
Then she started to hum all the way upstairs to her room.
Brandy: Im glad that she has found someone like Howie, she deserves him from what she went through.
Amber and Mandy: Yeah.
