Membership in the MOMS Club is open to all mothers who stay at home, at least part of the time, with their children. Membership is open to all regardless of race, religion, politics, or financial status. The MOMS Club of Norbeck serves the 20906 and 20853 zip code areas.

We hold our monthly meetings in Rockville on the second Thursday of every month (please contact us for details). We invite you to attend one business meeting and one group wide activity as a guest, after which you can continue to participate only as a paid member. Dues are $25.00 per year and help pay for our room rentals, supplies, and other programs. We are an IRS registered non-profit group, so any money collected will be used exclusively for our programs and projects. We understand that being an at-home mother often means a tight family budget, so if the dues will be a hardship for your family, please talk to the President or Treasurer. We believe that being a mother should not isolate you, so children are welcome at our activities. Please remember that you are responsible for your child's safety and behavior (see Club Guidelines below). Also, feel free to nurse your child at our meetings. We're all mothers, and many of us have nursed our own children.

Each month we produce a newsletter, which details club meeting dates and locations, Moms Night Out dates and locations, a playdate calendar and other helpful information.

Benefits of membership include discounts at Baltimore Zoo, Aquarium and Exploraworld.

Remember, we are here for you. If you have any quetions, suggestions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Club Guidelines

Behavior Guidelines: Unfortunately, children do not always get along with each other. If your child is hitting, pushing, or biting, please make an effort to control that behavior. The officers and hostesses may ask a mother and child to leave an event if the child has assaulted other children more than twice or is damaging property during that meeting or activity.

Safety Guidelines: If your family owns a firearm that is not always locked up, it must be safely out of reach of children and in a room off limits to all children when a MOMS Club function meets in your home.

Health Guidelines: To keep our MOMS Club as healthy as possible, please do not bring your child if s/he has shown any of the following symptoms (not caused by teething, allergies or vaccination) in the last 24 hours: runny nose with green or yellow mucous, fever, diarrhea or vomiting. The hostess and other attendees may ask a mother with a sick child to leave a meeting or activity.

Neither the MOMS Club of Norbeck nor the International MOMS Club endorses those websites who advertise on this site or to which we have provided links.
