Membership

MOMS Club of Sierra Vista, West, AZ membership is open to any part-time or full-time at-home mom who resides in the area covered by our chapter (please see map).

Prospective members may attend two general meetings before paying dues. However, only active members may join a MOMS Club playgroup or participate in a MOMS Club activity. Attendance at a general meeting is not required for membership. You are more than welcome to contact the chapter for an application at any time.

Dues are $20 for a one year membership. This cost covers such expenses as newsletter publishing and mailing, photocopying (a big one), activities and service projects. The $20 cannot be pro-rated for a partial year, and is NON-REFUNDABLE, so please take advantage of the two free meetings you can attend, or be absolutely sure that you'd like to join before paying your dues.

Please be aware that MOMS Club is about much more than the weekly playgroups, and there is no guarantee that there will be a playgroup available in your child's age group, or that the group will not be full. When playgroups in different age ranges become full, new members are invited to start another playgroup for that age range, with other new members who have children of the same age.

How do I know which chapter to join? Take a look at the map to see if our chapter covers the area you live in. The West chapter area is shaded coral. The dividing lines to create our chapter were Rt. 92, Highway 90 Bypass, Ramsey Canyon Road, and E. Ramsey Rd. If you live to the west of Rt. 92, south until Ramsey Canyon Road & southwest of Highway 90 Bypass you will be a member of our chapter If you live north of the Highway 90 Bypass, east of Rt. 92 including south of Ramsey Canyon Rd and E Ramsey Rd you are outside our area Whetstone, Huachuca City, Tombstone, Hereford, and Palominas are outside our area If you live on base at Fort Huachuca you will be a member of our chapter If you do not know which chapter of the club you should join, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you. If you are outside of our catchment area (see map) and would like to find out whether there is another chapter that you could join, please send an email to our parent organization at: [email protected], and they will put you in touch with the correct chapter, or advise you on setting up a new chapter if you choose to do so.
