The MOMS Club of Rochester sponsors activity groups for members with common interests, such as book clubs, scrapbooking, and a walking group. If there is not one already formed, consider starting a new one as a great way to meet people!
We also organize playgroups for the children (and their moms!) to participate in. These can be an excellent way for your child to make friends of the same age, and for the mothers to share notes. Currently we have playgroups for infants through pre-kindergarten. As with the activity groups, more are added as there is interest in them. Club board members or the playgroups coordinator can provide more information on joining one or starting a new one.
Everyone needs time alone with friends! We also have a monthly MOMS Night Out so we can do just that at a local restaurant, theater, or other venue.
Our monthly newsletter is sent to all members, and includes a calendar of MOMS Club events for each month with all the details, as well as a listing of community events around town. |
