MOMS Club respects different parenting styles however, it is expected that all children behave appropriately at MOMS Club activities. It is the responsibility of every MOMS Club member to provide appropriate supervision to their child/children at all times.
The following are considered to be unacceptable behaviors:
- hitting
- kicking
- biting
- hair pulling
- scratching
- punching
- destroying property
- throwing objects
In the event that one of these behaviors should occur, it is the responsibility of the childs parent to remove the child from the situation for an appropriate time period. If the choice is made to return to the activity, it is expected that the childs parent will provide extra supervision for the duration of the activity. If the child continues to act out, he/she will be asked to leave to ensure the safety of all.
Please do not discipline another members children. If your child is in conflict with another, please remove your child from the situation and take the other child to his/her parent. Members should present their concerns about behavior issues in confidence to the current President of the chapter. The President will in turn discuss the issues with the member(s) involved and impose the following penalties:
- First offense- verbal warning
- Second offense- written warning
- Third offense- unable to attend MOMS Club
activities when children are present for one month
It is asked that members follow these guidelines at all times. These guidelines are designed to ensure the overall welfare of MOMS Club members and their children. Any concerns or questions should be brought to the attention of the Executive Board. |
