Moms Club� hosts each month.
stay-at-home moms need support the most!
We meet the second Wednesday or Thursday of the month (alternating) to discuss old and new business, upcoming service projects, outings, board members share chapter news, ask questions of the membership and more. Often following the meeting, there is a guest speaker discussing a wide variety of topics that are of interest to our members. Childcare is provided, by member volunteers, for the meeting. Members are asked to volunteer to attend to the childcare room once a year.
MOMS Night Out
Once each month just us moms get together to eat, socialize and just have fun. This is a moms only event. It is a fun night out and a chance for the moms to get together and enjoy uninterrupted adult conversation. Some of the past MOMS Night Out's include dinner, movies, bowling, karaoke, dancing, haunted house, stage show, potluck, poker/game night, and many more.
Playgroups
Playgroups for all ages meet at various locations throughout the month.
Birthday Bash
Every month we celebrate birthdays together, at a member's home, mall or park weather permitting.
Potluck Lunch
We frequently host pot luck lunches to get to know new members and share a meal together.
Community Service Projects
Each year we select one, two, or more service projects to benefit families in need in our community. The MOMS Club of Fruitport does community service projects to help others, show our support for community, and also to teach our children a sense of respect and
responsibility for others.
Some of our service projects have included:
- Garage Sale benefit for Katrina Survivors
& Salvation Army.
- Donating suitcases and duffel bags full of toys,
clothes, and books to the Child Abuse Council
for kids just arriving at the shelter.
- Basic needs items and money for
Webster House of Muskegon.
- Dinner for families staying at the
Ronald McDonald House.
- Cookies for the volunteers at the local
Crop Walk for Hunger.
- Can-good donations to benefit the local food banks.
- International MOMS Club Mother 2 Mother fund.
