MOMS Club� is an international support group designed specifically for all stay-at-home moms regardless of religion, previous employment, infant feeding choices, or the age and number of your children.
Can anyone be a member?
We welcome all mothers regardless of race, age, religion, work status, or finances. This chapter, MOMS Club� of Cedar Falls, IA, serves stay-at-home moms living in Cedar Falls, Waterloo, and the surrounding areas.
Are there any activities for prospective members to attend?
Prospective members are welcome to attend two public meetings (either business meetings or public activities) before deciding to join. Contact us at [email protected] to obtain a monthly calendar for a list of events that you are welcome to pick from.
How do you become a member?
We are always looking for other stay-at-home moms to join our chapter! Please email us to learn of an upcoming meeting where you can receive a Membership form from any Executive Board member.
How much are dues and what are they used for?
Dues are $20 per year. Dues are payable upon joining and again each year by your anniversary date. The money is used for publishing the MOMS Club� pocket directory, postage, office supplies, seasonal parties, MOMS Club� pins, and International MOMS Club� dues. Dues are not meant to be hardship for anyone�please contact a board member to have your dues waived or lowered. All information will be kept confidential and membership will not be denied to anyone based on ability to pay.
Who is the Executive Board?
The board consists of President, Vice President, Membership Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The executive board is elected each June and serves on the board from July through June of the following year.
What activities are available?
Please see Activities. Our chapter offers a wide variety of activities for members and their children on a weekly basis. The monthly calendar is planned by a different member each month. So the dates, times, and locations of each activity will vary from month to month.
Do I have to attend every meeting and activity?
There is no requirement to attend any meeting or activities. Your level of involvement is entirely up to you.
Do you have any working moms in the Club?
We do have working moms in MOMS Club�. It varies from those who work part-time to full-time and come to meetings/activities on days they don�t work. We welcome all mothers regardless of work status.
