The Sunshine Committee coordinates meals for moms who have recently given birth or are experiencing challenges. The group will also send "Sunshine" messages throughout the year. If you enjoy cooking, picking up take out, want to help fellow moms, or enjoy making cards and corresponding, please consider this committe
MOMS Club has a play group at least once each week at local churches, members' houses, or a park. Everyone is invited.
Activities Committee:
The Activities Committee is responsible for planning and organizing events, like craft and story time, lunch bunch, breakfast club, field trips, and occationally special events for holidays. These may include activities for moms, moms and children, couples, or the whole family.
Welcoming Committee:
The Welcoming Committee is responsible for making new members feel comfortable and getting to know them. Committee members will contact new members by phone and invite them to join an event with them, and may even bring them a special treat of cookies or other dessert! Yum!
Other Committees:
In the past, we have also had Book Clubs and Scrapbook Clubs, and any mom who has a special interest is invited to survey the group to see if anybody else shares the same interest. If you would like to create a committee or new group, please let a board member know. All suggestions are welcome.
