As I opened my eyes, I awoke to a beautiful sunrise. There was excitement in the air!! The sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the cry of the gulls matched the butterflies churning in my stomach!! I ran out onto the deck to find the air was still and I said a silent prayer, thanking God for such a beautiful day!! My wedding day!! As I began to get ready the clouds moved in and the rain began. A wedding on the beach was out of the question, but there was always the church!! We moved everything over to the church and I finished getting ready!! My dad came in and we spoke softly each trying to hold back the tears!! bride Then it was time!! I took my dad's arm and he walked me down the aisle to place my hand in Mark's!! The Soloist sang four songs, three before we said our vows and one after!! "I Swear" was one of the songs she sang!! As she sung the words and I looked up at Mark, I knew they held a truth of what I could expect from him!! With the knowledge of how deep his love for me truly was, tears began to fall!! He just smiled back at me and gave my hand a gentle squeeze!! About that time the pastor said "and now I believe Lynne has something she would like to say to you Mark!!" All I could do was shake my head because I couldn't find my voice!! So the pastor began the ceremony and we exchanged our vows as we looked at one another through eyes that shone with love!! We each repeated our vows as we looked into each others eyes. weddingbands Then the pastor asked for the rings. He handed Mark the wedding band to place on my hand as he repeated the words..."with this ring I thee wed". Then he turned to me and placed Mark's band in my hand to place on his hand!! Wouldn't you know it was a little tight...Mark had to push it the rest of the way on his finger!! It seemed no sooner had he begun to speak, he was pronouncing us Man and Wife!! We took the usual pics and headed for the reception for more pics and to thank our guests!! At the reception, we cut the cake and fed one another!! Mark made me go first so I fed him like a good girl *L* and then he rubs frosting on my nose!! We drank a toast from the special glasses I had!! Then we sat with our guests and talked and ate a little!! Both of us were anticipating our wedding night!! The pastor came over and led us to a small table was set up with three candles, two lit and one waiting to be lit!! The two lit candles signified Mark and I as two separate people, the lone candle, which we lit together with our own candles, signified us becoming one!! Then we signed our marriage certificate and headed to the beach to throw the bouquet and garter!! Thankfully, the rain had stopped so we were able to have a part of our wedding party there!! I stood at the top of the deck over looking the beach and tossed my bouquet down to the ladies below!! Then Mark helped me down the stairs to remove my garter and toss it to the guys!! As soon as we could we slipped off to start out honeymoon. just married We had to outrun some of the guests, and when we gave them the slip we headed for out suite to change for dinner!! We had a lovely dinner and got some wine and cheesecake to go *S* He fed me cheesecake in bed!! We had a lovely time. All too soon it was time to get back home!!
