Bet most of you did not know that I am married to Fantasy-Fixer in real life!! We met in a little country music bar in '94. I had just turned down the offers of two guys to dance when he came up and said "I'm kinda afraid to ask after watching what happened to the last two guys, but would you care to dance?" We danced and as we talked, discovered we were neighbors!! He told me he had admired the red head across the street for some time and had wanted to meet her, but the funny thing was he did not know I was the same red head when he approached me!! He proposed in a most unusual way!!*whispering* "I really can't tell you!!" *LOL* We were married at Topsail Beach on October 7, 1995. Guess what!?! We still love each other!! Our love grows each and everyday!! We have been together for a little over three years.We just celebrated our 2nd anniversary!! I once told him he looks like a puppy dog!! He has big brown eyes and when he smiles you just expect him to start wiggling like a puppy!! My sons fell in love with him before I did but it didn't take long for me to see what a wonderful man he is!! We began as friends and from there...what can I say!! We are still the best of friends!! We talk for hours about our dreams and goals!! He knows me so well, he can look at my eyes and tell what my mood is!! A lot of times I will be thinking something and he answers or does what I was thinking!! It gives me chills sometimes *L* but I know how lucky I am!!

I have two great sons from a previous marriage, Shane 23 and Brandon 19. Shane has his own apartment in a nearby city. He is a supervisor in a sign shop. He will soon get his certification in certain computer areas!! He is a wiz with computers!! *whispering* "He helps his computer illiterate mom" *LOL* He has a wonderful girlfriend that I am hoping will be my daughter-in-law one day soon!! He is 6' tall with baby blue eyes and like his mom he is a romantic!! Some of you may have seen him in the west wing by the handle MrSexMachine. *rolling my eyes* I used to be his personal answering service *L* when girls kept the phone ringing off the hook, but that's not a problem any longer, now that he has Jennifer in his life!!!!

Brandon graduated from Riverside High and enlisted in the army. It wasn't what I had hoped or dreamed for him, and the thought of my child being in the army terrified me!! Everyone kept reasuring me that it would be good for him and we were not at war!! Well that was June of 2001, that September 11th all that changed!! He is currently stationed at Fort Bragg but has orders to ship out over seas later in the year!! As a mother I am still terrified, but I know I did a good job raising him...I can't live his life for him and I am so very proud of him!! Please join me in my prayer that God will watch over and keep him safe where ever he may be!! He has a wonderful girlfriend that tends to keep him on his toes!! Like his older brother he has many talents!! He is a wonderful artist!! As a matter of fact a few years past, his school went to Disney World and he made most of the badges and signs. Each student had a badge with a disney character and their name on it and each room had a sign taped by the door with the groups nickname and a disney scene!! He spends most of his time drawing cartoons. He designed a mask that was put on tour in the states. It looks a lot like his brother 'Lil Mark and now hangs in his room!! He also loves to cook and at one time considered culinary school to become a chef!!He used to be a chataholic in AOL!! His handle wss *wizard*!! Both Shane and Brandon have a page.

Fantasy and I have a little Fantasy *giggles* Mark age y years old. He is a very bright young man and will be entering the first grade next year!! He tells all about himself on his very own page!! From a mom's point of view he is growing way too fast. It seems like only yesterday I was waiting for him to get here and now nearly six whole years have flown by!! All the new things he learns day in and day out never ceases to amaze me!! *LOL* I guess some folks would think he is my first, but any of you out there that have children, know exactly how it feels!! 2 or 10 they are all unique little individuals and a mother's heart has the same unconditional...infinite love for each and everyone!! I love to watch him play and listen to make conversation for his toys. I cherish each and every moment and store it away in my heart!! I think right now if someone asked me: "what is your most favorite thing to do with Lil Mark?" My answer would clearly be, having those little arms wrapped tightly around my neck with those wet little lips pressed to my cheek and seeing the love I have for him reflected back in his trusting little blue eyes!!

In June of 1999 Mark and I had another little boy, Sutton!! He was a true miracle because his cord was wrapped tightly around his tiny neck twice!! Now at nearly three years old there is no evidence we nearly lost him!! He has sung the ABC song since before he was one and the things he continues to learn and do are so amazing to me!! One of the sweetest things on earth is his bright little smile!! We nicknamed him scooter because he always scooted around when we tried to change his diapers but to mommy, his is my sunshine!! Every morning I say; "good morning sunshine!" and he smiles so big..then I ask; "are you my sunshine, do you love me, am I your best girl?" To which I get a great big YES and then a great big hug. As we hug we sing "you are my sunshine..." together...those are my treasured moments with this small treasure!!

Early 2000 we discovered there was yet another new life coming into our lives!! Not long after we learned that my dad would be leaving our lives, probably before the new baby arrived!! He knew about his last grandchild but he never knew the gender!! On December 5th of that same year my fifth and final child, another precious little son arrived!! He was named for his papa, my daddy and is affectionately known by all as "lil Al!! Leading up to his birth I was in so much pain emotionally. It was hard not having dad around any more!! In some ways I felt the small life I carried robbed me of my dad, it was like getting one life cost me the life of another!! All those thoughts beame thoughts of joy the day he was born!! Holding him it felt as if God leaned over my shoulder and whispered; "I knew the loss of your father would cause you great pain and I thought this little boy would bring you comfort!!" He has in so many ways!! He looks so much like his papa!! Watching him grow has been a joy in it's self!! What do a treasure about this little one? The same thing I treasure with the 4 before him!! Each and every single moment!! Theer are those unique moments that stand out with each one, but I treasure everything we share!!
