| Tuesday, August 23, 2005 28 weeks, 3 days I had my 28 week appointment today. My 3 hour test was normal. Urine and blood pressure was normal. I am measuring at 32 weeks (and feel it too!!). The heartbeats were good. He says the pelvic pain I am having is the cartilage of my pelvic bone separating (OUCH!!). He asked when my 3D ultrasound was scheduled for and when I told him September 16th, he said "No, no. We need one sooner." So, he's going to do one next week when I go back. Next appointment: August 31 (29 weeks) @ 10:20 am |

| Friday, August 26, 2005 28 weeks, 6 days Well, I went ahead and went to the doctors this morning. My weight is now 178 so I'm positive 2 for weight now. My BP was normal. I am measuring 30 weeks. My cervix is closed. They gave me a NST and no contractions. One baby's heartbeat was between 120-140. The other was between 150-160. He said the pain and pressure is normal since I am small and trying to carry more than normal. He said I have 9-10 weeks left.Well, I have been itchy for about a week or so now. It's not just the usual itching, it's all over all day itching. I finally got fed up with it and called the OB. They wanted to see me today, so I went. They think I have PUPPP (pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy). She gave me a prescription for lotion and also told me to use caladryl. If it's not better by Wed., then she said she is sending me to a dermatologist. |

| Wednesday, August 31, 2005 29 weeks, 4 days I had my 29 week appointment this morning with u/s growth scan. My uterus is measuring 33 weeks, so still 4 weeks ahead. I am still only +4 for weight gain. BP and urine was normal. Baby A is measuring around 29/30 weeks and weighs approximately 2 lbs, 8 oz.. IT is healthy. Baby B is measuring around 30/31 weeks and weighs approximately 3 lbs, 1 oz. SHE is healthy. They are sending me to Eastern Virginia Medical School to see their specialists to make sure that Baby B is not "hogging" everything from Baby A. I have a 3D ultrasound on September 16th. |

| Thursday, September 15, 2005 31 weeks, 5 days I had my appointment with maternal-fetal medicine this morning. Charlotte now weighs 4.7 pounds and is in the vertex (head down) position. Caitlyn now weighs 3.10 pounds and is in the transverse (side to side) position. Charlotte also has a head full of hair!!! I now have to have NST twice a week beginning tomorrow. I go back to Maternal-Fetal Medicine in 3 weeks to do another growth scan. They are 99.8% sure that they are identical based on: ~ Same sex ~ Thin membrane separating them ~ One placenta (the .2% is that the two placentas could have fused together but they doubt it) |
