24 weeks, 3 days I had my 24 week appointment today. Nothing exciting. I have gained 8 more pounds so I'm at -2 for weight gain. I'm creeping up the scale. LOL We heard both heartbeats. they said my urine and blood pressure were fine. They said my fundal height was fine as well. but they never told me any of the numbers. Next appointment: August 16 (27 weeks) @ 10:40 am Glucose Test |

| Monday, August 15, 2005 27 weeks, 2 days Well, I went ahead and went to the doctors this morning. My weight is now 178 so I'm positive 2 for weight now. My BP was normal. I am measuring 30 weeks. My cervix is closed. They gave me a NST and no contractions. One baby's heartbeat was between 120-140. The other was between 150-160. He said the pain and pressure is normal since I am small and trying to carry more than normal. He said I have 9-10 weeks left. |

| Tuesday, August 16, 2005 27 weeks, 3 days I failed my 1 hour glucose test! I go back on Friday at 7:30 am for my 3 hour test. Fun, fun!!!! Everything else was the same as yesterday (weight, urine, measurements, heartbeats). Next Appointment: August 23 (28 weeks) @ 11:40 am Next Ultrasound: September 16 (31 weeks) @ 1:45 pm |

| Friday, August 19, 2005 27 weeks, 6 days Well, I had my 3 hour glucose test this morning and it wasn't really all that bad. LOL I got there at 7:20 am and dumb dumb me didn't pre-register at the hospital. I had thought about but figured that I would be able to get it done by 7:30 am. Well, of course the computers were having issues this morning! So I didn't get back to the lab until 8 am. She drew my baseline vial of blood and asked me if I wanted the orange flavored drink or the cola flavored one. I told her to surprise me since I really didn't want either. LOL She recommended the cola flavored since she has more success with people holding that one down. I managed to get it down in 4 or 5 gulps. She said that it was one of the fastest she had seen. I told her I'd do anything to make sure my babies were going to be okay. She gave me a cup of water and a blanket and led me to a room with a TV and a recliner. After my 3 blood draws and 3 hours of TNT (LOL Angel, Charmed and ER) I was sent home. I guess I'll find out the results Tuesday at my appointment. |
