12 weeks, 4 days I had my 12 week appointment today. I also had to have a glucose test since I am pregnant with twins. That was 120, which is normal. Everything else is fine. They did a 3D ultrasound today. It was completely unexpected, I had no idea. I think they were checking to see if they are in separate sacs or not. Any way, they are in separate sacs which means they don't know if they are identical or not. Makes no difference to me as long as they are both healthy. They are both measuring the same (12 weeks, 2 days even though I am 12 weeks, 4 days). I only have 3D of one baby, but I've labeled it where the other baby is. The dr. is very happy that they are in separate sacs, that way they can't get their cords tangled around each other. Next appointment: June 1st (16 weeks) @ 11:10 am |

| Friday, May 20, 2005 14 weeks, 6 days I went in today because I had a migraine beginning at 7:30 am and it would not go away. I got prescription demerol and pheneghran. My weight was 159 which means that I lost 17 pounds. Not too good. Heard both babies heartbeats. Other than that, it was uneventful. |

| Wednesday, June1, 2005 16 weeks, 4 days I had my 16 week appointment this morning. I have gained 1 pound back. Heehee..... My blood pressure was 90/60. A little lower than my normal. Always happens when I'm pregnant. Both heartbeats were heard. And both were around 150 bpm. They drew the blood for my AFP test. Next Appointment: June 28th (20 weeks) @ 9:45 am Ultrasound |

| Wednesday, June 28, 2005 20 weeks, 3 days I had my 20 week appointment this morning. I have gained 9 more pounds. My blood pressure was normal. Had my ultrasound. We saw both heartbeats (Baby A: 155 bpm; Baby B: 162 bpm). We saw all body parts. Baby A is measuring 343 grams (around 10 oz she says) Baby B is measuring 361 grams (almost 11 oz) They are laying on top of each other (which is why I don't always feel one) Only one placenta was SEEN which means identical (will be checked again in 8 weeks). At one point Baby B had its head in Baby A's butt (Hmmmmmm.....) My AFP came back normal. We discussed setting up a C-section date (and getting tubes tied at the same time) Both kept their legs closed! We do not know either sex. Next Appointment: July 26th @ 11 am (24 weeks) Next Ultrasound: At 28 weeks |
