8 weeks, 4 days
Had my first real pre-natal appointment. Weight was 176 pounds. Up 5 in a month. Ughhhh...... My BP was normal. I will get my exact numbers at my next appointment. I had my 8 week ultrasound. The NP told me before we started "You're only 8 weeks, all we're going to see is a blob and a heartbeat." I was like as long as I see the heartbeat, I'm ok. So we started and she showed us the baby and the heartbeat. Showed us which part would be the head. Then hubby asked "What's that up there?" She was like the yoke sac. We were like okay. She turned the monitor and started checking my ovaries and all. I had two pictures of my baby and I saw the heartbeat. I was in Heaven! Then she said, "We're not done, yet." Dh and I just looked at each other. She said, "The baby has a playmate. You're having twins." We were like Oh my God!! She showed us baby two and gave us two pictures of it. Then managed to get a picture of the two of them together. Baby A is measuring at 8 weeks, 3 days and Baby B is measuring at 8 weeks, 1-2 days. So they are both basically on track.
Next appointment: May 4th @10:15 am
