November 12th- Some good news. I got a steady, paying gig for next semester. Every weekend, either Friday or Saturday night or both, I'll be playing to the dinner patrons at La Ruota ristorante in downtown Chestertown. Weekly gig man. 6:30 to 8:30 I play whatever I want, get $20 plus tips. Hooray
November 10th- I have two new nephews :) Atticus Martin born Nov. 5th, and Mason Andrew born Nov 7th. Both are now healthy and super cute, I love them both a lot and can't wait to see them again. Will be putting pics up on the pics page soon.
Music-wise... possibly getting a regular gig downtown at an Italian restaraunt... more to come later. Singing the national anthem at the swim meet this Weds. Playing at a Lit House party next week. Dead show next weekend. Awesome.
October 22nd- Several cool things: opened for traveling musician Adam Richman last Thursday at school. Went very well, he's a super nice guy who plays really well. He said I was the best opener he's ever had :)
Last Friday got to meet/have a guitar class taught by/have dinner with guitarmaker and musician Paul Reed Smith(of PRS guitars). It was AWESOME. He reinstilled my faith in myself about music theory, and was just super nice in general. His band KICKED ASS.
Oh yeah, and saw Three Doors Down. Whatevs.
