Adrian is currently an Adjunct Professor at Lenoir-Rhyne College. This past semester he taught two classes on Writing about Literature. He focused on Raymond Carver's Short Stories, Thoreau's Walden, the poetry of Seamus Heaney and W.B. Yeats, among others. |

| The Big Read is a community- wide reading initiative presented by Lenoir-Rhyne College, The Hickory Public Library System, Catawba County Library System and Catawba Valley Community College. Tim O�Brien, author of the highly regarded The Things They Carried, will read from his work in P.E. Monroe Auditorium on April 8, 2006. |
| Adrian was recently Poet-in-Residence at Charlotte Preparatory School in Charlotte, NC. Adrian shared his background, poetry, and inspired children to write their own poems. The theme was on Irish Immigration and the writing will be brought to the stage by Charlotte's Stage Works. |
| Adrian was recently Poet-in-Residence at Northview Middle School in Hickory. He worked with all the 7th graders to write personal poems around the theme of Dreams, Wishes, & Things. In April for National Poetry Month, Molly edited and arranged the poems for the stage. The multi-media performance of this work took place in April at the school |
