There were many other horse-based chimera in the various mythologies. One of the most popular were the Pegasus, with it's shining hair, cloven feet, and most notably, the single horn spiraling up from it's forehead.
Another was the Pegasus, born from the blood of the slain Gorgon Medusa. Its horse body accompanied by two powerful wings, allowing it to soar the skies.
Here, the winged heroine Hawkgirl has been caught by the curse of Hippodamia. She is accompanied by Barbara ("Batgirl") Gordon who has been transformed into a unicorn.
