Nothing like the security of the warm body of a brother or sister.
Soon this will end as they are growing too large for this basket.

Picture 1:  It's getting a little tight to get a spot.
Picture 2:  Looks like Rascal came up with a solution though.

Time to raise the barricade.
KELLY
So many changes have happened to the pups in the past week and a half. Now
at 3 weeks the puppies are starting to resemble and act like
real puppies and not just little balls of fur.  As their eyes have opened, they can now see. They can also hear and are getting much better at walking about.   The puppies  are starting to respond and walk toward you when  you get their attention.  They now realize there are fun things to play with, like their toys, Even their brothers and sisters wind up being a good chew toy every so often.  Their teeth have just recently started to break through,  so they don't hurt  that much - YET.    Their playtime  is very limited though as they still spend most of their time sleeping.   Soon they will start to eat solid food.  Rascal can't wait.

Grandma Topaz just couldn't wait any longer to help
Rascal with her babies. Topaz lets them nurse and she does produce milk.
