Mike aka Mnyalu comes from a long way, and started his career from earlier 1990s where he was sampling American Artists such as Mc Hammer, Vannila Ice's songs before he later came to meet his friend Mcee, Tony who inspired him to write and rhyme in swahili language and succeded to lease his first album with his crew TDC, " JE TUTAFIKA?" in 1998 at Don Bosco studios in Iringa.

In 2001,Mike tee release his first solo single NYALULAND featuting Lady Jay dee aka binti Machozi under Bongo Record Label then came the other single entitled KAMA featuring Jay Mo and eventually the super fly track NAMPENDA NANI featuring Sir Nature aka Kibla in 2003, under the same recording label, BONGO RECORDS

Late 2003, he released his first ever solo album, SINTOBADILIKA under MJ RECORDS which featured 8 tracks with the hitting single Sintobadilika,which was nationwide hit and people's choice.

in 2004, mike tee released his second solo album entitled JE UTANIPENDA? which features 8 songs,that's in stores right now and u must get ya own copy before he releases his last album JE UTANIPENDA? n now his coming with the hottest album NIACHENI try to think what will happen.
