MnJ-NY's  Home Page
Well it looks like we're going to build a page here.I don't know how often we will update it but at least we will have some presence on the web here.I think for now I will just put our derby car pics up and a little about  them.
Here is the 84 mercury Marquis. We have never seen this model/bodystyle run before and your guess is as good as ours as to how well it will do.The frame is very solid with no rust through anywhere.the fibreglass cowl was messed up so we yanked that.it has a strong 302 with lots left in it.We have high hopes that it will do well because it is so boxy and stout.and there are thousands and thousands of them out there.60's and 70's iron won't be around forever unfortunately and compacts just aren't as fun as full size.we will post the after pics after she runs august 1st.as she sits in the pic now all she needs is the windows popped out and the gas tank moved then she's ready
Next up is our 85 chevy landau which is basically a 2 door caprice classic.she has a pretty good 305 .we just need to tune it up so she's a screamer!the frame is in perfect shape with no rust through anywhere(all good undercoat)the only rust area is the bottom of the drivers door where the  aluminum trim was.since the trunk is so long we will be pre- bending it up or we will definitely be dragging ass around that mud.as she sits now she's stripped except for the widows and moving the gas tank.
