| Here's the view of the new section of Edinburgh from high atop Edinburgh Castle. A lake (or loch) used to seperate the town, but it was drained in either the 1600's or 1700's due to problems with pollution. The old bridges are still there. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's a view of Urquart Castle, the ruins I visited at Loch Ness. Not much there, just a lot of ruins. Nice view of Loch Ness from here, though. Somebody apparently caught a "glimpse" at the Loch Ness Monster from that tower on the left years ago. All I saw was that monster float off with my $3.50! Stupid monster! I'll make sure next time I'm buying cookies from a REAL girlscout! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
