Greetings Everyone and Welcome!
Our first meeting is a distant memory and we forge ahead into the Summer and Fall. Our Corps of Officers continues to do a wonderful job! Our Regional Meeting is coming up and we thank everyone ahead of time for their participation in this meeting. We know that our Deputy Grand Matron Sister Judy Goebig will appreciate any help she can get. Signet Chapter stands 100% behind our Officers and we know that it will be a great year ahead. Keep up the good work folks!

Happy Summer!
As you know, it’s been a while since Signet has put out an issue of our newsletter. It’s been missed by many of you and so we decided to bring it back! This is our special summer edition of the newsletter. We are on a break from Chapter duties until September but this does not mean that we are out for the count. We are still very much active during the summer months. We realize that many of you will be away with your families and we are happy that you have plans to spend quality time with the ones you love. For those of you who remain with your families in the area, we would like to invite you to join us in any activities that may arise.

As activities come up and as time allows, we will be writing about them here. If you have a story to tell or something that you feel should be shared with our Chapter, let us know by clicking on my name at the bottom of this page. We might be able to include it on this page.

In June we celebrated Signet Chapter’s 97th birthday! Our Sister Judy Goebig was installed as Deputy Grand Matron for this year and we are very proud of her. Sister Anna H. Miller was installed as Associate Grand Conductress for the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania. We wish Sister Judy well in the coming year as DGM and we wish Ann the best in the next four yours to come. We are all behind you Ann!
With Sister Ann going through the chairs in Grand Chapter, Signet will be very busy preparing for the next four years. If you are ready, willing and able to help out, please let Ann know. I’m sure she can use all the help she can get.

September 8, 2009 – Tastefully Simple Demonstration at the home of Sister Bonnie Shalala. 7:30 p.m.
October - 2009
October 17, 2009 – Tea Party at Marie’s – 1:00 pm, $10.00 - Please bring wrapped Jewelry or accessory gift – Wear a hat and gloves to make the day extra special!
November - 2009
November 10, 2009 – Craft Night at the home of Sister Ellen Kiefer – 7:30 pm. Please call to let them know you will be there.
Please note: these dates are subject to change so if you plan to come, check with the Chapter Secretary or the Ways and Means committee chairman. Please remember to call to let the ways & means hostess know that you will be attending. Thanks.
Address Book Reminder
Amendments to the address books are in progress. If you have recently affiliated and/or have recently moved, please make sure that all your information is correct so that we may include your correct name and address in the address book.
On that note, take care everyone. Keep reaching for the stars and until we meet again at Chapter meetings or on the OES trail ~ "May the Lord watch between me and thee while we are absent one from the other".
