Signet's Trip to Maine ~The journey...
It was a crisp morning the day we left for Maine. Everyone got to the pickup areas on time and we departed from the parking lot promptly as we headed on our way to Ogunquit, Maine. The trip was uneventful in that there were no delays and no mishaps along the way. We arrived at the Ogunquit Plantation Inn Hotel earlier than expected but not to fear, they were ready for us! We were greeted with homemade cookies of all types and coffee and tea. Our rooms had already been assigned and our keys were waiting for us when we arrived. Our bags were deposited outside our doors. What service!
The Inn was charming. The back area of the hotel opened out onto the river and further out the ocean. The view was spectacular and the weather was made to order. It was a vacation that will not soon be forgotten.
