01/27/08 Troy, Dylan and Ally Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We had a fun week. Went to an open gym in Downers Grove which Ally loved. They had gymnastics equipment and a slide that she enjoyed playing on. Thursday Moira brought the girls over. Maggie is adorable. Friday we went to a new playdate. It was nice to meet other moms in the area. Troy, Cory and Jana came up for the weekend. It was pretty low key. Ally enjoyed having company and of course the huge cookie cake they brought. Congrats to Cory on getting a job at John Deere in Waterloo!
01/20/08 Ally wearing big girl underwear! Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We went out to dinner at Japan 77 for Craig's 31st birthday. Ally loved edamame! Ally wore big girl underwear on Saturday. I don't think she's very ready for potty training, but we'll see how it goes. She did go once in the big girl potty, but I think it was a fluke. She took her underwear on and off and sat on her potty about 100 times that day (no exageration). It's been cold, so we haven't done too much.
01/13/08 Grandma and Grandpa Ward Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Grandma and Grandpa Nanke and Aunt Mare came over Saturday to celebrate the January birthdays (Grandpa, Craig and Mare). Then Uncle Matt, Grandma and Grandpa Ward, Aunt Betty, the Markey's and Saldeen girls came over. We ordered pizza and it was great to see everyone. Sara and Colin brought Walter, their new little puppy. Ally had fun playing with Mary and Madeline. Sunday we went to lunch at the Bolingbrook Promenade - Bass Pro Shop restaurant and watched football.
01/06/08 Dylan & Ally Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Ally is such a little helper. She loves to help Daddy cook dinner, help Mommy change diapers and hold Dylan. The new stroller is awesome - hopefully Ally sits in it at the mall as much as she likes to around the house. New Years Eve Ramo and Mary came by on their way to the airport to go to the Rose Bowl. Then Jamie, Kerri and Austin came over for dinner. We made it until about 11:00. It was nice to hang out after the kids went to bed. Josh, Katie, Tate and Paige came over Saturday night for dinner. Ally and Tate have a blast together and Paige is just adorable.
12/30/07 Ally Dylan Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Here are some pictures from the week. Wed 12/26 - Kelly and Kurt came to visit as well as Aunt Angel and Uncle George. Daddy went to dinner with them while Mommy stayed with the two kiddos for the first time. It went well since Dylan slept the whole time. Thu 12/27 - The furniture finally came. Grandma and Grandpa N. came over and helped put it together. The finished room looks great. Ally had fun jumping on Dylan's bed. Fri 12/28 - Daddy pulled Ally around in her new sled. She finally seems to be back to normal after being sick for almost a week. Dylan slept in his new bed. Sat 12/29 - Daddy took Ally to Davenport for Lauren's 4th birthday party. Mommy got a lot done at home including taking down the Christmas tree! We received beautiful flowers from Craig's work. Sun 12/30 - Heather, Bob and Keegan (5 mos) came to visit. Keegan is such a big boy now - he looks just like his daddy. Grandma N. came over bearing gifts and dinner. She did some after Christmas sale shopping! Ally got an apron to go with her kitchen and Chelsy gave Ally and Dylan a barking doggy puppet. Ally is warming up to Dylan and the jealousy is wearing off a little bit. She's doing great!
12/25/07 Christmas Day Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Christmas Day Ally opened her gifts from Santa and from Grandma/pa Anderson. We had to go get Dylan tested for jaundice and they couldn't get any blood from his heel because they were so bruised from being stuck so much at the hospital. We were very frustrated, but enjoyed a great day at my parents house. Ally loved her homemade rocking chair from Grandpa N. and my parents made a nice ham dinner for everyone.
12/24/07 Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Christmas Eve we went home from the hospital in the evening after a very long, frustrating day. They tested Dylan for jaundice in the morning and it came back pretty high, so they planned on sending us home with a biliblanket to keep him on the lights. It took all day to get it delivered to the hospital. Craig made steaks for his mom, Myron, and my mom for our first night home. My dad had the flu so he couldn't make it. It was great to be home. Unfortunately Ally got sick again that night for the 4th night in a row, but luckily she is on the mend now. I got it Friday, Ally Saturday, my mom Sunday, my dad Monday, my sister Tue/Wed and my brother Thur. It's been a heck of a week!

12/15/07 Ally Click here for pictures on Snapfish	We did a "Big Buddies" tour of the hospital for big brothers and sisters. They gave each of the siblings a doll, blanket and bottle and explained a little bit about the baby. Then we went up to the nursery to see the babies, but there was only one there. Grandma and Grandpa Ward came up to celebrate Christmas. We had lunch Saturday at Popeye's and then opened presents. Ally was really into it. I think her favorite was the boom box with a Wiggles CD. We had dinner at Jameson's Charhouse and then hung out at home. They left Sunday after breakfast at Red Apple. We took Ally sledding, but after once down the hill and a pile of snow in her face, she was done. She did enjoy being pulled around on the sled though.
12/9/07 Ally Click here for pictures on Snapfish	Last weekend Betty brought Mary and Madeline over to play. I don't think I've ever seen the three girls sit in one place for so long, so we had to snap a couple pictures. Olive even made it into one. Friday night we had Craig's holiday work party, so my parents took Ally to a Winter Carnival in Bloomingdale. She got her face painted, decorated a cookie and enjoyed the juggler. Saturday we went to Brian and Moira's holiday party, but didn't take any pictures. It was fun to see them and there were lots of kids too. Sunday I went to a cookie exchange with a Mom's meetup.
