Chopper Bike:  Paint Continues
Short update today.  I spent a couple of hours on prep and paint today.  The front forks recieved several coats of bumper chrome paint.  I wasn't sure how well that would turn out, but I have to say, it doesn't look too bad.

I also removed the swingarm from the frame and tore down the frame, removing the pedals, crank, etc.  Then I finished up some of the tube welding, patched a couple holes and began the long process of preparing the frame for paint.  Most of the rust is now gone, but there are still 2 holes in the pedal bearing tube that need patching (left over from the old framework).  And there will be bondo!  There are a few welds on the main frame that I'll leave as-is, but most of them will get a coat of bondo to smooth the joints out.

Hopefully, I'll get more time tomorrow to get the frame in primer and start the prep on the final piece, the swingarm.  I also hope to shoot some color on the seat post and handlebars and maybe some clearcoat to protect the forks although I want to test the clear on the chrome paint first...
