The Angels of Allah
The second article of the E'maan is believing of the Angels of Allah - The ' Malaayika' - El}nÝ -
How to believe the attributes related to the Angels of Allah? These are the ways we have believe -
1. They are created from light unlike human beings who where created from clay.
2. They do not belong to any gender.
3. They have no definite images; can change their images.
4. Between them, there are grades. Some are superior than some others.
5. They will carry out the specific work appointed to them by the God Almighty. Some will decent with the blessing to humanity ordained by Allah. Some decent with wisdom, some with good things, some with bad things etc.
6. Some will come in the day; some in the night. Some will present only in the heavens; some on the earth.
7. Some will bring Divine Message to Allah's Messenger, etc.
8. They will praise Allah every time.
9. They have no idea to disobey the Orders of Allah at any time.
10. They need no food or drink. There is no necessary for them sleep. They have no sense of forgetfulness.
Thus the Angels are vary in work, number etc. Allah alone knows their number. The most important among them are:
1. Jibraiel (Alai) : He brought Divine messages to the Prophets of Allah.
2. Meekaiel (Alai) : He is related to food and water.
3. Israiel (Alai ) : He takes life away from humans.
4. Israfiel (Alai) : He is related to wind.
5. Kraman kaaththibeen (Alai (= Dignified writers): Two Angels appointed to write the deeds - good and bad - of the men.
6. Munkar - Nakkir (Alai) : Two Angels appointed to quarry the men in the grave.
7. Ridhwan and Malik (Alai): Two Angels appointed to look after Heaven and Hell respectively.
