The Scriptures
God created man to worship Him and Him alone. Al Qur aan Allah says, " And I created not the jinns and men except they should worship Me ( alone). " - Al Zariath: 56. So the Aim of The God Almighty is clear and to guide the creations, He sent the Messengers with revelations. The one of the articles of the faith is believing these revelations, sent by The God Almighty to various Prophets.
Allah had sent four Scriptures to different Prophets. They include the following:
1. Holy Tawraath ( Torah ): It is revealed to Prophet Mousa ( Alai ) - Moses in Hebrew language.
2. Holy Saboor ( Psalms ): It is revealed to Prophet Davood ( Alai ) -David in Greek language.
3. Holy Ingeel ( Gospel ): It is revealed to Prophet E'saa ( Alai ) - Jesus in Suryani language.
4. Holy Qur aan: It is revealed to Prophet Muhammad ( Sal ) in Arabic language.
Out of these four revealed Books, only The Qur aan exist in purest form, same as revealed 15 centuries ago. All other Scriptures lost their originality in some way or other. More over The Qur aan only is made as the last revelation, to be followed till the end.
Apart from these Holy Scriptures, the Suhubu's ( Books ) amounting one hundred and ten were also revealed to various Prophets. They include
Ten to Prophet Adam ( Alai )
Fifty to Prophet Sheed - Seth - ( Alai )
Thirty to Prophet Idris ( Alai )
Ten to Prophet Ibrahim - Abraham - ( Alai )
Ten to Prophet Prophet Mousa - Moses ( Alaai )
Since The Qur aan is the final revelation preserved in its purest original form, which is also sent to the whole mankind, it replaces all other old revelations. It is the to be followed till the Doom'day.
