   Allah, The Almighty

In Islam,  the belief of Allah  should be in these ways only.

1.  Allah is only One. Al Qur -aan says,  '...He is Allah, (the) One' - Surah Al Ikhlaas:1.

2. In His Existence and Attributes, He needs no partner or subordinate. Al Qur -aan says,  ' He is As-Samad (= The Self Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need)' - Surah Al Ikhlaas:2.

3. He has neither a father,  a mother, wife, children, or relatives of any caliber. Al Qur -aan says, ' He begets not, nor was He begotten' - Surah Al Ikhlaas:3.

4. Also he doesn't have to take food and water; nor He needs sleep. He can't be attributed with the characters like  forgetfulness, sorrow ness, happiness,  disease or healthy state.

5. He is free from color, and dimensions.

6. He is no gender; neither a male nor a female; but is not hermaphrodites also.

7. He is Pure from any definite descriptions our mind can think.

8. He is Pure from any direction, doubts, short coming etc.

The essence of Islam is  Thauheedh  ( Monotheism). It has three parts.

1. Oneness of the Lordship of Allah - Thauheedh - ar - Rububiyya - To believe that there is only one Lord for all the universe, its Creator, Organizer, Planner, Sustainer, and the Giver of Security, one and all - that is Allah.

2. Oneness of the worship of Allah - Thauheedh - al - Uluhiyya - To believe that none has the right to be worshipped in any form except Allah.

3. Oneness of the Names and the Qualities of Allah - Thauheedh - al - Asma was Sifath - To believe that - We must not name or qualify Allah except what He or His Messenger (Sal) has named or qualified Him. None can be named or qualified with the Names and the Qualification of Allah.

The Qualities acceptable to Allah are existence, Eternal existence, existence on His own, deference from human descriptions, Oneness, Ever living, Wise, Ability, Willingness, Sight, Hearing, Speech, Imageless, wisdom without the necessity of brain, willingness with soul, seeing without eyes, hearing without ear, speaking without mouth, etc.

The qualities not acceptable to Allah are nothingness, newliness, end, destruction, necessity, likeness, death, inability, ignorance, blindness, deafness, dumbness, etc. If anybody is believing Him with even any one of these qualities, then he negates Allah Himself.

Al Qur-aan says, "  Allah ! none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever on the earth. Who is he that can intercede Him except with His permission? He knows what happens to them in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." -    Ayathul Kursh  ( Ayah of the Throne) - Al Baqaraah: 255

Qur-aan continuous, " Say, He is Allah, One. The Self Sufficient. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is no likeness unto Him." - Al Ikhlaas : 1 - 4

Is there any god like Him?  Or the god you are praying is having the characters like him?  Don't you want to realize this?

Allah will guidance to one and all.
