Captain - Kimberly Truong

Captain assumes responsibility for the team with the Co-Captain and advisor. She plans, organizes, and executes all projects designated by advisor. She exemplifies and maintains a high standard of team membership and dedication. She will ensure the team's success by using positive criticism, utilizing the team's time, maintaining discipline and cooperation, and actively and openly communicating on all levels.

Co-captain assumes responsibility for the team with the captain and advisor. She will maintain attendance records. She will work with the captain and advisor to choreograph routines and oversee proper music selection, with the primary responsibility of producing the music cut on tape or compact disc.

Officer of Business & Finance maintains all records, reports, and receipts regarding team expenses and funds. She serves as the Treasurer for the Keppel Drill Team Booster Club, processing all monies through the MKHS Student Bank. She will produce a monthly spreadsheet of the team expenses and funds raised as well as a monthly budget for the team.

Officer of Correspondence maintains all recores, reports, and submissions from the Chairpersons. She will record record team meetings, practices, and events, and submit a typed final draft to the advisor. She is responsibility for all team communications, including but not limited to producing a monthly team calendar.

Uniforms & Equipment Chair maintains and stores all team uniforms and equipment. She performs uniform inspections at each fall-in, team event, performance, and shall monitor proper wear of all drill team uniforms. She will ensure proper use of all team equipment.

Historian Chair keeps physical record of all team events by photographing, filming, and collecting items that represent team events. At the end of their term, she will be responsible for scrap-booking.

Social Chair plans, organizes, and executes all social events for the team of at least one social event per month.

Birthday Chair assumes responsibility for celebrating team members birthdays by producing a standard gift and birthday card for each birthday as it occurs.

Liasons assums responsibility for establishing positive relationships with administration, parents, campus clubs and organizations, staff, and team members.

Publicity & Media Chair assumes responsibility for producing all team-related media and advertising and for ensuring positive media exposure throughout the community and school.

Fundraiser Chair is responsible for planning, organizing, and producing all team fundraisers.

Webmaster maintains, designs, and updates the drill team website in order to ensure team communication and updates.

Elected positions, which include all other positions besides Captain, Co-Captain, and Leader, shall be determined by a team majority vote. Nomination for office may occur through self-nomination or another member's recommendation for nomination.
