On to the good stuff! Crepe Suzette and her pet poodle Eclair are part of the International Dolls line. As you can probably tell from her name, she and Eclair are from Paris, France. The International Dolls were introduced to Strawberryland in 1983. |

Here are some pictures of Crepe Suzette as a 5 1/2 in. doll, which is basically the only way she was released as a character, besides three minis and some other puny, unadventerous, last-minute-thought ways. (No, I am not bitter. Just defensive.) |

Many of the regular dolls were also produced as "minis," miniature versions that weren't posable like the 5 1/2 inch dolls. Crepe was made as two different regular line minis and one deluxe mini. My pictures are megablurry. I can't get very good pictures of my minis, for some reason. I think they're too shiny! |

My friend Michele has a very unique Crepe Suzette item. Just take a look at this (left)! It's an unpainted wax sculpture that we think was probably supposed to be produced as one of the 1984 minis. The details in this and the size (identical to the minis) lead us to believe this is a prototype. AHH! I wish it was mine, but since it isn't, I'm glad she's got such a good home! |

Above is a photograph of a prototype of the Crepe Suzette deluxe mini stove. It was given to me by a friend who I helped sell her daughter's collection on eBay! The prototpyes are generally a little bit bigger than the produced version, and a bit heavier as well, since they're made of another material (not plastic). In general, prototypes are considered rare and hard to find (HTF). |

As I've said before, Crepe was usually expected to take a "back seat" in Strawberryland, as you can see by the diagram to the right. She is featured in a book, but the only way you can really tell it's her is because of those blue Mary Jane-style shoes! What's up with that?! Poor girl. Always expected to give the credit away to others. However. . .I have been able to find some unique Crepe items, thanks to the crafty eyes of friends everywhere who know I adore Crepe Suzette! Take a look and see some of my more original items with the blue-haired beauty! |

How cute are these two (below)?! My friend Liana created the rag doll from a Strawberry Shortcake rag doll. My pal Gail bought a Beanie Baby poodle, and used Rit tie-dye to make the white poodle blue, just like Eclair! She also hand sewed the ribbons and bib he's wearing. I love them both! |

Yes, it's true. I FINALLY OWN A CREPE SUZETTE CLOCK! My friend Krissy found this for a $15.99 BIN on eBay in June, 2006. I don't think I've ever seen it listed on eBay before, but I know someone who had one for sale for over $300! I never thought I'd really own this clock, but thanks to Krissy, I am the only person I know who proudly displays this clock as part of my collection! I even have the BOX! How cool is that?! |

This is the front of the statue, MISC (Mint On Sealed Card). As you notice, this card is in Spanish, not English! I've never seen the card in English, which leads me to believe that FRENCH Crepe was only released in Mexico! How bizarre. |

How cool is this towel?! From the top to the bottom, you can see Cherry Cuddler, Crepe Suzette and Strawberry Shortcake sliding down a waterslide. This was a Christmas gift from my friend Gail. (Can you tell she's hooked me up with some cool Crepe stuff?!) I think Crepe's bathing suit is the best! Remember those little skirts bathing suits used to have? Below is a close-up image of Crepe from the towel. This is definitely one of the more unique items I own with Crepe Suzette! |

Here's the back of the very same card. I've seen the Strawberry Shortcake with Custard card and the Lime Chiffon card both in English and in Spanish. However, I've only seen the Crepe one in Spanish. Perhaps she's more rare and difficult to find than the others because she was only produced in Spanish. There were not a lot of home items with Crepe Suzette. (I'm sure you're flabberghasted at that.) However, there were some home decorations for children's rooms with many characters on them, so of course, they threw on Crepe as a last minute addition. (I'm convinced.) |

One of the comforters (right) has a picture of Crepe Suzette and Eclair on it. I know mine is faded, but I love it just the same! |

There are also curtains and sheets that have pretty much the same image on them as the comforter shown here. I have one flat sheet, but no fitted sheet, and I do not have the curtains with Crepe. If you see or have them for sale, please let me know! |
