More About Me, I Guess, At Long Last
"I'm a sixteen-year-old girl in Michigan and I've been writing poetry for a little over a year," it says on my FictionPress profile.  Good, you can't search people FP profiles, so from this you can't find me there, although there you can find me here.

So yes, I write poetry, which is sprinkled throughout this website, rarely labelled as such, however.  And I write to write, just weird things, but not any stories yet.  Except The Story.  The 263(?)-page book Ali and I wrote in five months and are now perfecting so that it can be sent out.  Soon the site'll be back up--
www.geocities.com/seriouslyhonestlyremarkably.  The tentative title, at the moment, is Crazy Together.   Here's a picture of The Story, the day we finished it.  We were both sick for a week after it was over.
So I write, and I read, which was already known from my rambling books page.  And I play piano, and Gaelic harp.

What else is there to know about me?  There's a mostly-factual description of me on The Story's website,
here.  Oh, I like to listen to music, but that was also already known.  I love John Mayer's music the best.  His voice, his words, his music, his confidence, the way he can make rididulous faces and not care, his beautiful hands and arms, his hair...  Mostly the music, of course.  That's why it's first, obviously.
I love kitties, and dogs but I like cats better, and mine are already pictured on this site, although their ages are out of date, I think.

I speak French fairly well, after three and a half years of it, and I expect to be an editor on the school literary magazine again.  I'd better be; I'm depending on that for leadership.  I've decided that I'm going to a college in NYC, and I plan on being a writer.  What else is there to say about me?

I'm just past half-Irish, and then I'm German and then Dutch and English and tons more stuff.  Haven't heard it listed over dinner in a while, so I don't know it.

Um...I seem to feel that this needs to be longer.  I love moments and images and feelings:

I love concerts and the way they feel like a whole world; I love the way a day can divide into five days, and a night can be even more; I love beaches at morning and night and all day long, and cold lakes; I love the mountains and empty sky of California and the clouds in the huge sky of Michigan; I love the way light shines through leaves in summer, especially lying in a hammock; I love the pure night sky and the stars piercing it; I love standing outside when it's too cold to be coatless and just being; I love the spring/summer/fall breeze through my bedroom window; I love perfect fall afternoons filled with golden light, reading outside; I love being able to fall into unreality in almost a heartbeat, living inside my mind; I love blue-lined paper with crisp pen or pencil on it--words and drawings filling the margins; I love laughing until it hurts with someone who knows exactly what I'm thinking; I love staying up until four in the morning talking about nothing; I love staying online until the wee hours of morning talking; I love going to bed early on a Sunday night and falling asleep listening to "Quiet"; I love waking up early and laying in bed with my kitten curled up next to my head, the pale blue light of early morning spilling in, and then falling back into sleep; I love life.

There you go, Ali.  Laugh, laugh!

Ali filled in her "I <3 _____" bumper sticker with 'life' and I laughed, because of the song that was in the Princess Diaries.  So underneath it, it says, "Shut up, Marisa!" and she's going to hang it over my bed when we are in college sharing a dorm.  Just funny, really.

Wow that's ridiculous up there, though.  Really, it is.  I got a little carried away trying to remember what I loved.  My family, too, of course I love them.  And my friends.  Not just moments and the wind and water and light and my cats.
