Dr. Vanessa Yanagi or as non Union members have come to known her, Aoki Yanagi (code and mundane name legally acknowledge in her passport and greencard), is a woman of great self confidence and intelligence which radiates outward to her outer beauty and deep observing, calm and icy glances.
Being a personification of efficiency and feminine perfection, Vanessa has perfectly groomed and combed honey brown hair that extends halfway down her back of her lightly higher than average body stature for a japanese woman. Over her blue eyes she usually wears glasses, tinted rose that serve as her mirrorshade foci, for imbeded in them is a state of the art circuit board and LCD screen. Her face results in perfect symmetry and grace, her lips lightly entoned to a soft pink which forms her smiles, smirks and more serious facial expressions.
As a professional Vanessa cares deeply for her image and would usually wear tight black pants, perfectly fitting (she wears thongs always to avoid panty lines) her well curved figure and a red knit turtleneck sweater made of special armored cloth, heavy enough to curve her breasts without the need of a brassiere but light enough to keep her movements with grace. Over this she would wear a black dress jacket.
Lately in an effort to change her image a bit, she has chosen more lively colors and yet not changin her overall image. She now wears dark green tight pants that still fit perfectly around her hips, and a creme knit turtleneck that was specifically made to continue giving her armour and feminine support.
And then there is her gala outfit which she has rarely used since her transfer to New Bremen. It consists of a skirt that reaches just above her knees, black leather boots and military like suit with a red button down blouse.
Whatever the outfit or the occasion, Vanessa is the expression of glamour and haute couture.
Dr. Vanessa Yanagi is a 27 year old woman member of the Technocracy, specifically its convention Iteration X as a Time-Motion Manager, speciliazed in research and artificial intelligence implementations to her convention's computers and cybernetics. She has proven herself in New Bremen up to the point that now she is a recognized Iteration X Armature and the Iteration X Convention Head, position she held after her time as Head of Construct and NB after Selene's death. Her professional sucess serving GenLabs and the New Bremen Technocratic Union has also lead her to obtain the position she had dreamed about since her juvenile years, Head of Research to all agents stationed either at GenLabs or GTC. She also got a lucky break when she obtained the Head of Training when the other candidate went MIA.
To her this fills her with huge satisfaction after suceeding in the strange lands of New Bremen, nothing like the Tokyo Construct she served under mixed Iteration X - Zaibatsu administration. The rise from an electronic-cybernetic researcher for covert Strike Force Zero to head of a branch of the Iteration X in an American city has been an adrenaline filled ride. No one would have imagined that a quiet but extremely brilliant daughter of Japanese father and English mother would grow through the Japanese school system, excel at computer science major and finished a majors and doctor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, would enlighten that potent genius that was born with her and come into such an important position to the world's leading Union.
