Mission Statement for Iteration X, GenLabs, New Bremen 
The Mission of Iteration X in 2001 is to continue its path towards complete 
efficiency both in the mundane sciences and applications of GenLabs and the 
Union as well as the introduction of new and/or better nanotechonology and 
cybernetics to further the Convention's role in the Union and the Union's 
hold on Sleeper Society. 

Vision for 2001 
The vision for Iteration X is to be an example of efficiency and results to 
the rest of the Union as well as proving our worth and importance to the 
larger picture. 

*on a personal memo* 
I expect all members of Iteration X to read this and engrave them into their 
circuitry or mind. This year the convention will radically change and quest 
to be much better. There will be no more asking what is ItX doing for 
everyone will know what we are doing. What does this mean to you? 
Well...that you are having to live up to high standards and will get lots of 
work that I hope you can fulfill with needs as they go. 

Iteration X will be a force in the mundane sciences and another force in 
Union science. That is why from now on I will be assigning jobs and 
positions to people and I expect results. There will be mandatory research 
or convention work. OF course I will receive your input of inconformancy but 
Im letting you know the basics will stay. 

I also wish to inform you I will hold myself to the same regulations. Here 
is the concrete of the plan: 

You have one week to chose or report a Research project or Work that you can 
justify as working for the Convention. 

The fields prefered are in mundane nanotechnology, specially prosthetics and 
anything we can commercialize through GenLabs. Research in artificial 
intelligence or other electronic advances is also welcome as well as device 
developemnt. Group projects are more than encouraged but individual work 
will be taken into account. 

I will perform evaluation through a Head of Internal Research. Dr. Alestaire 
please report to me immediately. 

I will also keep you updated on Convention Head tasks such as my own 
research and reach out programs. Jane Maddux please report to me immediately 
as well.
