I recommend that you install the necessary library files first after reading this page. The procedure is linked here:

Info before you start....
TW2003 user created courses are usually downloaded in zip format. They will need to be extracted to a known location on your hard drive before you will be able to install them using the course utilities.  I use WinZip 8.1 to extract the zipped course and library files to the folders we made earlier.

Download from the internet the TW2002 or TW2003 course of choice and all the associated libraries to either the
new2k2courses, new2k3courses, new2k2libraries,  or new2k3libraries file folders you should have created on your hard drive. Make sure you created the expand folder as well. These folder names can be any name you choose. I just chose them for my system. The main thing is to be organized and to be consistent.

Find the 2002 or 2003 Zipped file in the appropriate folder (either new2k2courses or new2k2courses) and doubleclick the file and extract everything in the zip folder to c:\expand which is the folder you should have created last.

At this time navigate to whatever library files you downloaded seperately (to either new2k2libraries or new2k3libraries folders) that the course called for and extract the appropriate library files to the same  c:\expand folder.

Go to the c:\expand folder at this time and open the folder. It's most likely you will see something like  this: (I am using Kanawani River Resort 2002 version as an example because it has *.tcn file and flag.dds file)

flag.dds
Kanawani River Resort (2002 version)         (EASport compressed course)
Kanawani River Resort.tcn
(course notes file...will be manually moved to c:\Program Files\EA     SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2003\Data\Caddiebook\Course Notes)
readme.txt
(is simply a note from the designer telling how to handle the tcn and flag.dds file)

At this time create a course folder named Kanawani here:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2003\Courses
Make a new folder under the courses folder and name it Kanawani or whatever makes sense to you.
Go back to the C:expand folder.

Doubleclick the Kanawani compressed course in the expand folder and it will open the Tiger Woods 2003 Course Utilities. Click Install at the top and a new window opens called Install Course/Library.
By default the CU when in this Install Course/Library window Drive C: will be selected on the top left and the Tiger Woods 2003 folders will be opened on both sides. Notice that there are 3 windows below the Source and destination Drive selectors. The right side is where we will be installing the course and library files. The top left window below the drive selection window is where we will locate the c:\expand folder and the files we need to install. Doubleclick C:\ on the top left large window below the Source drive window selector. C:\ folder should open and all the folders should line up closed underneath C:\
Use the slide bar at the right of that window and drag down until you find the expand folder and doubleclick it to open it.

Once the C:\expand window is open on the left side you should see the Kanawani River Resort.tcx course file in the bottom left sources window. Highlight that file now.

On the install side....right long window...the TIGER Woods 2003 folder will be opened and highlighted. Before you hit install, doubleclick the course folder and scroll down to the Kanawani folder and doubleclick it to open that folder....Make sure the folder opens and nothing is below it! Once you see that the source and destination is correct, hit the install button. The course should install pretty fast. If you had needed any other library files it will tell you what is missing and you can abort the install until you get the library files necessary.

You should always install the library files needed first as the course finds their location in the folders you created for them and and sort of creates a path. If the location of the file is changed or if it is accidentally deleted the course may fail to find that library and not work in the game.

The only thing left to do now is to move the flag.dds file into the Kanawani folder.

The library files install the same way as the course files, but install the ones that you need into the appropriate file created earlier in this tutorial.
