| Monday, January 6, 2003 Incredibly, it is now 2003. Oh, I'm not surprised that 2002 ended, its just I thought we might jump right into 2004, skipping an entire year. Hey, its one idea for getting the economy rolling, I don't see you coming up with anything. The rumors are true, Real Cheese has finally released the new cd - Would You Like To Go To The Beach? It was debuted for the public in a limousine, travelling between Albany and LaCabanna. It features new Cheese classics like If I Wasn't Drunk, The Beer Drinking Song, President Ford and the astonishingly brilliant Marijuana Farm Suite, featuring guest chick vocalist Alison Slagowitz, formerly of The Chimps. You cannot live another minute without this album, kids. To obtain a copy for yourself and your mother, e-mail us. In other news, half of Real Cheese is getting married. No, not to the other half, and thank you, but no, its not me. Its Jeff. So pester him with congratulatory e-mail More soon, I hope. oh yeah, there are new photos! Thursday, June 6, 2002 The setlist for Doug's 30th birthday bash is now online and in Cheesebase. I've yet to hear the tapes, but Jeff assures me that they're excellent, going as far as to say: "I've never played so well drunk in my life." He also tells me that the rendition of Look Out, Ground, with co-author Sean Waters on vocals is tremendous and may even outstrip the studio version we have in the can for the next album. If there's demand for this show to be released on CD, we'd definitely consider it. Perhaps I'll start a poll about that. In the meantime, just write us. The Quiet Woman show was really fun for us, and you all seemed to dig it too, so lets play again soon, man, invite us to your party! We come into your town, we help you party down, we're an American band! If you don't let Real Cheese play your party, the terrorists have won. for earlier Spring diary entries, go here |
