Okay, okay, I know that it will soon be Spring, but at 12:50 am, as I write this, it's still Winter.
I was really bored and compiled a list of all the cover tunes we've done over the year. It's a little heavy on Elvis, Dead, Neil, Dylan and Beatles, but you probably could have guessed that.
Take a look, there are some very odd ones in there.

Hopefully Jeff and I will play at LaCabanna in May, but we'll see. Until then, why not invite us over for a set and a game of Monopoly?

Dear Rock'n'rollers,
I have added a groovy new feature, a
message board/forum-type dealy. Now you can sound off on topics of interest to YOU, THE REAL CHEESE FAN. Topics like: favorite tunes, favorite shows, favorite Steve McQueen film, favorite thing to yell at Jeff, favorite way to harass Dug, etc. So check it out!

Things are brewing with Cheese...should be some recording and live news soon. Watch this space for details!

Love,
Sammy Pie

That's right sports fans, Dug the Roadie is a smelly drunk. He spent New Year's weekend unbathed, unshaven (like we could notice), and full of alcohol. This past weekend he invited me over, forcibly made me slow dance with him to Steely Dan and then passed out before 11:30 pm.
His wife Carly was unavailable for comment.

So far, we haven't received many potential song titles, but Dan Mulvihill had one good one: "Andy Pissed On My Arm."  I think I'll work with that.  By the way, sports fans, Andy Anderson is BACK IN THE NEW YORK GROOVE, for keeps.  Don't worry folks, he has a wife to keep him in line now.

I've added some
polls to the site. It's your civic duty to vote, folks. I'll add new ones from time to time.

Peace In,
Edward G. Robinson

Many of you were there but some were not. On February 15th, Real Cheese made a surprise appearance at the wedding of Todd & Diana Newby, and rocked the house. We blew through a couple oldies and a brand-new song written specifically for the occasion, "Love is Nice." We drank too many shots but still played with verve and precision and had everyone dancing and singing, including the entire Newby clan. For one of the first times ever, Real Cheese left the crowd wanting MORE instead of playing until everyone passed out.

The new album still needs to be finished and mixed, but we expect it out in time to rock your summer. In the meantime, why not entertain yourself with our first-ever vault release "
Live At Salem School '91?" Its a hum-dinger. As Scott Reed says, "Why anyone would choose to make out with a girl rather than listen to Real Cheese is beyond me."

Yes kids, its finally happened. Jeff has finished up Live At Salem School '91 and it is NOW available.  I'll let Jeff tell you all about it from his e-mail message to the faithful.

Hey Cheeseheads,

Those of you who weren't at LaCabanna missed the release of the new "
Live At Salem School '91" CD. (And I think I forgot to give one to Carney)But there are still copies left... So remind me to bring one next time you see me. Or, for you out-of-towners, send me your address and you might just get a belated Christmas gift from Real Cheese in the mail.

And, since you asked, we ARE still working on a new studio album and have been for the last three years. Just give us another year or so to get it done. Tom Scholz is producing, and it's gonna be HOT.

-Jeff
