joe brought a plate of
these cookies for us at the office one day, and they were so delicious!

ordinary

METHOD
-
whip butter and sugars
until very light and fluffy
-
add vanilla
-
add eggs one at a time
and blend well
-
stir in dry ingredients,
then oatmeal and other ingredients by hand
-
drop by spoonful
onto cookie sheet sprayed with Pam
-
bake in 350
degree oven for 10-15 minutes depending on the size
NOTES
-
we
vary this by using raisins and dates, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel,
etc. skor bits and so on.
-
i
use mexican white vanilla
-
i
think this might be a very ordinary recipe, it is just that we use
butter to bake and the convection oven does a good job of cookies
!!!!
-
we often make up the
dough and keep it in the fridge for a week, so we can bake up fresh
cookies.
