Wel need many things that we can't get because we are broke. We need clothes, shoes, and food. We're not pleased with these laws. These taces are making everyone broke.

How dare you talk about us behing our backs! I truly don't understand why your so mad at the King. After all he has done for you, you should be thankful. We have to pay the taxes also. So you can either suck it up and pay the taxes like the rest of us or you can sit back all day and pout. We don't car if you sit back and pout all you want, but it won't get you anywhere. Besides you still have to pay the taxes or you will go to jail.

Your men (the soliders) are treating us like slaves. They are making us do back breaking work. They would destroy us unless we submit to the yoke. We are sunning out of money because everything we buy we have to pay taxes on. We need clothes, we need shoes, we need hats for the winter. We will never forget this, and you will pay.

Dear mom and dad,
I'm not scared by the colonist have won. We thought we were going to win because we had a spy go spy on them. When the spy cam back he told us they were low on weapons and people. We almost had them untill those stupid French came to help them. We were sure we were gons win. I guess we weren't so sure after all.

The battle of Yorktown is over. We have beaten the British thanks to the French. If it wasn't for them we would've lost the battle and we wouldn't be here today. So I thnk them once again.
