In these journals, students imagined what life would have been like if they were living during these two important times in American history. They were often told to pretend they were at certain historical events or portray themselves as people from this time.
The entries that are posted were selected from both fifth grade classes. Only the spelling and some minor grammar has been changed in order to make the entries more readable.
