Thoughts
You'll be treated to my musings on each story, and what I feel about certain characters that I wrote in the fanfic. XD
Thoughts on: Marhabah, Egypt! and Characters
When I was just a beginning author, I had another story that I worked on at FFNET. During the time when one-liners and "10 Ways you know You're obssessed with Harry Potter" sweeped FFNET, lots of stories were taken down. I had the unfortunate moment where seven of my own stories were taken down.
For a time, I didn't do much writing or reading. But I couldn't help myself, I just had to come back. After reading the Harry Potter fanfics that cropped up after all the taken down stories, I read more and more. The fanfics style had become... finer. I was pretty determined to write a fanfic that was long.
Up until that time, I had never really taken my writing seriously. A good example would have been The Love Note. So I wrote this little one-shot. I wrote it all in one day. I never stopped for a break.. the words just came.
The story itself just sort of took form as I started typing. Before I knew it, it was finished. After some tweaking here and there, I posted it. I'm glad it was received nicely, and I've never enjoyed myself so much. I owe a lot to this one-shot because it was sort of the solid foundation in which I started writing seriously.
This story was the beginning of what is now called The Mission Series.
Thoughts on: Bonjour, France! and Characters
This was completed recently, and finally to my relief. I don't deny that it's seemed like I've discontinued with this Series but I was preoccupied with my other fanfics.
I've always wanted to write a series like this where there's no real plot, save for what's happening right then and there. Each story on their own does have a plot, but it's not all mounting up to some climax. They're just tellings of missions.
As shown in the first part, there are hintings of slash and het. I throw that in for fun because I fancy that I'm looser in these stories. XD It's really for my own amusement and for those who are looking for particular pairings.
The locations themselves don't really take too much time to think of. I'm usually thinking of a funny scenario, which ends up being a small scene in the middle of the story, and work my way outward. Definitely a weird way to start writing, but again, I'm much looser with these stories.
France was particularly easy because I had a grasp of the French language. Not that I speak it fluently, or that it's used much in this story, but having prior knowledge to some french, it was obvious that I would choose this location for a mission.
This is a side-story to the first part of the Mission Series. I could, however, go out on a limb that this is a prequel to Marhabah, Egypt!. But I haven't said anything officially. XD
Thoughts on: Olla', Spain! and Characters
I've got lots of things planned for this particular story. I'm thinking of editting the first chapter and making it a one-shot too.. but I'm still undecided.
I have to say though, the chapter won't be here in awhile. I'm just really busy. Not to mention the fact that school's coming up, so updates will be long in coming for all my stories. I'm not stopping on this story, as I refuse to stop any fanfic. =D Good news for you all, I guess.
I'll give more details on how the story will continue. You pretty much get the gist of it in the first chapter, but as the story goes on I'll be writing about a Lady of the Matador contest. Harry, of course, will be in it. Now from that, I'm sure you can imagine all sorts of possibilities. Believe me, I know. XD
I apologize for the long wait, but all I can ask is that you bear with me. The chapters will be longer, of that I can guarantee, but a precise date isn't going to be said. T_T In the meantime, if you haven't read the previously mentioned stories, I suggest you read those to get an idea of what this so-called Mission Series is all about. XD
