ANGEL IN HEAVEN
There's a special angel in Heaven
That is a part of me.
It is not where I wanted her,
But where God wanted her to be.
She was here but just a moment
Like a nighttime shooting star.
And though she is in Heaven
She isn't very far.
She touched the lives of many
Like only an angel can do.
I would've held her every minute
If the end I only knew.
So I send this special message
To Heaven up above.
Please take care of my angel
And send her all of my love

Let the Children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as them. Matthew 19:14

This is a poem that was written for Morgan by her Uncle Joe. Her Uncle Joe wrote this poem for her, and read it at her funeral. Morgans full name is Morgan Grace Harris and the poem is titled Grace
GRACE
Your days with us are over Morgan,
Well miss your presence so much.
Our love for you will be forever you know,
But no more will we feel your touch.
You were always smiling and laughing,
And I never once heard you complain.
I know it was tough in the end, Sweetheart,
But now there is no more pain.
The doctors did all they could do thats right,
For it really wasnt their call.
Jesus wanted you in heaven with Him,
So now Morgan you have it all.
Your life here with us seemed so short,
Thirteen years sounds like so few.
But, oh you have eternity now,
Cause life has just started for you.
Yes, we know you are happy now,
As you play in those streets of gold.
No tears, no suffering, no heartache anymore,
Cause to Jesus your heart you sold.
One day well be there with you little girl,
Cant wait to see you at the gate.
I hope that all who would like to go there,
Dont wait until its too late.
For those of you that are present.
And to Heaven youd like to go too,
Give your life to Jesus Christ
And one day Hell come for you.
So goodbye for now Sweetheart,
You know we love you so.
Love Colby, Katie, Courtney, Aunt Nett,
And dont forget Uncle Joe.

Morgan had a wonderful nurse in the hospital by the name of Stephanie, She sent this poem to us after Morgan died. I know nurses have to keep from getting attached to the children they care for. Stephanie definitely became attached to Morgan. She requested to be her nurse whenever she could, bringing hair products from home to take extra care of Morgan. When Morgan died, Stephanie was there and I still remember seeing the paid and loss she felt just as we did.
"I Lend This Child"
"I'll lend you for a little time,
a child of mine," he said.
"For you to love the while she lives,
and mourn for when she's dead."
"It may be six or seven years,
or twenty-two or three
But will you, til I call her back,
take care of her for me?"
"She'll bring her charm to gladden you
and shall her stay be brief
You'll have her lovely memories
as solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise she will stay
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn."
"I've looked the wide world over,
in my search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you."
"Now, will you give her all your love,
not thinking the labor in vain
Nor hate Me when I come to call
to take her back again."
"I fancied that I heard you say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
the risk of grief we'll run
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may
And for the happiness we've known,
forever grateful stay
But shall the angels call her
much sooner then we've planned
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand."

As much as words could help at the time of our loss this poem gave us some relief.
