Miscellaneous Et Cetera
Oh, yeah... about my nickname. It all started back when my sister was first learning how to speak -- that would be about when I was four and she was two. Instead of saying "Rebecca" it came out as "Bubba-lah." (We didn't know it at the time, but "Bubbalah" is a Polish term of endearment.) The name just sort of stuck, all the way through my teen years. Eventually "Lah" fell off the end, and I was thereafter known as "Bubba." Of course, I needed to differentiate myself from the other, more stereotypical Bubbas out there, so I took a variation of my middle name and tacked it on the end to make it sound more feminine. (My real middle name is spelled "May," and my grandmother's middle name is spelled "Mae." So I just borrowed her spelling.) I probably started an email account with Yahoo as "BubbaMae" and forgot that I had (and even forgot the password) because when I went to register with Yahoo a few years ago, it was already taken. Therefore, I decided to add "Miss" to the front. Most other sites that require a log in will know me as BubbaMae.

The comic below is the draft copy of the first Episode of "I Wanna..." That's short for, "I wanna produce the most awesome kick-booty webcomic there ever was." A friend is writing the script for it, and I am drawing it. <--- This thing over here was sort of fun to participate in. But in order to actually "GET" your score, there's like a half-dozen pages of "would you like more info for these three to four dozen sales pitches?" As long as you select "no" for almost all of them -- you must pick at least one "yes" in order to continue (GRRRRRR...) -- then click submit, then be sure to select "no" on each offer that follows unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be bothered with sales calls and emails, it'll let you finally get to the point where you can see your score. I got a score of 155. How'd you do?
