         Mira Pines is the outdoor recreation and education centre for Sydney Presbytery of the United Church of Canada. It is situated on the beautiful Mira River, off the Trout Brook road, a few kilometers from Marion Bridge. It is a year round facility and can be rented by youth and adult groups throughout the year. Sydney Presbytery has offered summer camp at Mira Pines since 1990. In those few years the program has grown from about 30 campers to close to 200.
