Indian Institue of Technology, Roorkee
I joined the Department of Architecture and Planning, Roorkee in july 2000. Roorkee provided great learning opprotunities, with a competetive environment, an enthusiastic student body and good facilities. I was deepely involved in NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture) annual conventions as well. Working for the trophies each year, I was able to expand my level of understanding also got extensive experience of working in teams.

Involovement with INTACH, Hazaribagh Chapter was another defining line of my learning curve. Together with some like minded colleagues I formed a team that worked on several prejects for INTACH.

The Roorkee campus, with abundant greenery, wide roads and liesurely pace was peaceful and serene. A walk to the Department on a foggy, chilly winter morning was quite mesmerising, the air heavy with the smell of winter and soaked ucalyptus leaves.
