Publications
|
- Report on Eco Architecture for INTACH (Indian National Trust for Culture and Heritage), Hazaribagh (2002). The report was the culmination of study of �green� materials and methods of construction developed by various building research institutes in the country.
- House Boats of Kashmir(co-authored) research paper published /presented at the National Conference of Traditional Knowledge Systems, IIT Kharagpur 2004. The research was aimed at encircling the problems that have surfaced largely due to the neglect of the traditional balance system between the houseboat dwellers and the Dal lake.
- Architecture: From a Child�s Perspective(co-authored), presented at Cognizance(2004), National Tech Fest at IIT Roorkee. The paper was a study of the scale of buildings and other structures as perceived by children. The presentation won a special mention.
- Parallel society: an inheritance from Virtual Architecture(co-authored) under review by ASCAAD 's Second International Conference on Computing in Architectural Design (Sharjah)

- Acoustical Systems of Greek open Air theatres: SURA Award (Summer Undergraduate Research Award 2001, sponsored by IIT Roorkee) The project was an attempt to analyze the geometry of Greek theatres to understand their amazing acoustical properties.

- Member Nari Gandhi trophy team IIT Roorkee NASA, Mumbai (National Association of Students of Architecture) 2002.
The trophy involved identification and exhaustive architecture analysis of an avant-garde building in India. The team was awarded a citation.
- Coordinator Nari Gandhi trophy team IIT Roorkee NASA, Chennai (National Association of Students of Architecture) 2003.
The trophy involved framing a definition for �Indian Architecture� and selecting a building that fits into this definition. The Vidhan Sabha (State Parliament) of Madhya Pradesh was visited and studied in the light of the above criteria.

Challenge: Work in the context of Lutyen�s Delhi and create an architectural representation of the diverse forms Indian Art. Creation of positive open urban spaces within the complex was a major part of the exercise.
