April, 2001One of Many Bridges on Hwy 160 & the Sacramento River
Hwy 160 offers a nice 60 mile river drive from Antioch to Sacramento. I drove a very enjoyable 40 mile stretch from Hwy 12 to Sacramento, crossing a few bridges (toll free) and collecting a lot of dead bugs on the windshield along the way... yuck.

Once I got to Sacramento, I headed east on Hwy 50 then headed toward Folsom Lake. I drove across Folsom Dam, drove through the backroads, then enjoyed the twisty Hwy 49 to Auburn.
