I really didn't know where I was going in Heidelberg, as it was dark, and
I didn't want to stop and look at the map. (Yeah, it's that male pride
thing) So how was my sense of direction? I ended up at the Heidelberg
Castle without taking a wrong turn, but I had a little help from this
Smart, which I followed all the way up to the castle.
Approaching Frankfurt at Dusk
This is a view of Frankfurt from eastbound Highway 648, Christmas
Day. Even with occasional heavy rains that day, I was able to go visit
Cologne, and take a driving tour of Bonn, Koblenz, and Wiesbaden
and come back to Frankfurt before dark. The Frankfurt Marriott is the
narrow, rectangular building on the left side of the image.
