CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
We need volunteers who are interested in sewing together the decorated squares from both the
Salem Jubilee and the Carnation Festival.
These squares will make very special binkies because children and adults of all ages put effort
and love into the squares.
Please contact us if you are interested in helping put these Binkies
together!

What a surprise! We were able to arrange a booth at the Carnation festival! Very short notice, I
know, but a wonderful opportunity all the same!
On August 8 - 11 we will be hosting a booth at the Carnation Festival located in the Pavillion.
We will be selling plain fabric squares for 50 cents each and have children and
adults decorate them with fabric markers. The squares that are decorated will then
be sewn into blankets.
I think the opportunity to gain more community exposure is wonderful! I am
very excited about our participation. If anyone is interested in working the booth, please contact
Brandy or Betty. Any amount of time you could spare would help our efforts tremendously!
The hours are as follows:
Wednesday, the 8th: 4:00 - 9:30 pm
Thursday, the 9th: 4:00 - 9:30 pm
Friday, the 10th: 4:00 - 9:30 pm
Saturday, the 11th: 12:00 - 10:00 pm
Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you are visiting the Festival, be sure to find us in
the Pavillion and stop by and say hello!
