| FINAL EXAM: UNITS 5,8,11 LISTENING TEST (Thurs., Jan. 10) Part 1: Listening A. Question/Response (20 questions) (4 questions, you will hear me give you directions. You will have to find the place on the map given to you.) B. Dialogues (4 x 3 questions each) Part 2: Grammar I Put recipe in order. Part 3: Grammar II Read the sentences. Choose the correct grammatical sentence. Part 4: Vocabulary Read the sentences and choose the matching definition SPEAKING TEST (Check schedule) 1) Giving directions (You will be given a map - similar to the exercises you have done in class with your partner) 2) Making an invitation. (Same movie/sites/restaurant choices from the handout given to you in class.) 3) Giving instruction. You will be given cooking pictures (similar to the pictures given to you in the handout). Evaluation: 1) Effective use of language from the appropriate units. 2) Proper use of grammar and vocabulary from the appropriate units. 3) Fluency/rate of speech delivery (Do you hesitate or struggle to find the words for too long? Do you leave long pauses?) |
