The happiest I've been in months. Hurray! [weird thing I've said lately] When explaining why I was buying Ve-G Franks instead of hotdogs for a children's party: "I don't want to spend on carnage." When asked what keeps strapless bras where they're supposed to be: "The grace of God." [last person I went out on a date with] Charlene. People well-acquainted with my work may remember her as Charles's sister (read Scar to refresh your memory). We exchanged gifts (I gave her Bench denim-inspired panties!) and had dinner. She's been mostly a pesco-lacto-ovo vegetarian since the semester started. Cool, huh? [last time I cried] When I watched Mulan for the nth time... that scene with her dad falling down while practicing his sword-handling always gets to me! *sniff* Half an hour before that, I cried over Lilo and Stitch. Yes, I've been watching cartoons all holiday season. [last book I read for the first time] Elizabeth Wurtzel's Prozac Nation. I read so much of myself in it, it screwed me up. In a good way, though. Highly recommended! Before that, it was Terry Pratchett's Sourcery. Good old Discworld fun. [last thing I spent a mini-fortune on] Treatment for a monster allergy attack I had two weeks ago. Doctor's fees, two kinds of pills and what seemed like a dozen various creams and lotions set me back PhP4,100. Gawd. I usually foot the bill myself, but I'm determined to reimburse at least four grand from my parents. Heck, that was a lot of money. [songs stuck in my head] Echo, Incubus World Upon My Shoulders, Silverchair Tonight and the Rest of My Life, Nina Gordon My Immortal, Evanescence Bitch, Meredith Brooks (I can't help it! ^^; ) Circle of Life, Disney Channel All-Stars (or something... hehe) [crush boys] Kyle J. Downes, the guy who plays Larry Tudgeman on Lizzie McGuire. Yes, he plays a dork. I like dorks. Especially reed-thin, anemic ones who only wear two shirts. Hehe. Yes, this is a 20-year-old speaking. Jeffrey Quizon - my favorite Pinoy actor, he was hilarious in the CDO commercial. Too bad he's endorsing meat. That guy in the Globe GenTxt commercial (textus phonetabulous) Those two guys in another Globe GenTxt commercial, the one set in a basketball game. Francine likes the one with the afro better; I prefer the one with corn rows. ^^; That guy in the Sunsilk "Ganda ng Pare Ko" commercials [crush girls] Beyonce Knowles Halle Berry - she buys at Lush! Nicole Hernandez Leonor Varela (Hallmark's Cleopatra) Thandie Newton - the most sensuous lips known to (wo)man. Plus, she's an actual African princess Alicia Keys - I want her hair Suzanne Khan Roshan and Aishwarya Rai - Bollywood actresses are absolutely beautiful The girl from the DSCTA, the one with glasses, an overbite and sausage curls Amy and Au from CMC!
